Controlled test deployment

This prelaunch deployment is for invited testing, not public pledge collection. Testers should use only an email address they control and may ask the person who invited them to remove a test record. A monitored privacy address will be published here before public collection opens.

What we collect

The pledge requires an email address, a Washington ZIP code, and your affirmative statement of support. You may also choose to tell us that you can help collect signatures or that you want broader campaign updates.

We do not ask for your street address, employer, job title, salary, phone number, voter-registration details, or official petition signature in this phase.

How we use it

We use your email to contact you if and when an official Washington petition is available. When email delivery is active, we first send a confirmation link so that only an address controlled by the person submitting it is eligible for later campaign email. We use self-reported ZIP codes in aggregate to understand where support exists and where signing opportunities may be needed. We contact prospective volunteers about signature collection only when they opt in. Broader campaign updates are sent only when that separate box is selected.

Salary and weekly-hours entries are calculated on your device. They are not submitted with the pledge and are not stored by this site.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell pledge information. It may be processed by service providers that host or operate the site. We retain pledge records only as long as needed to organize around the proposal, meet legal obligations, and communicate according to the choices you made.

Your choices

Every campaign message includes a way to stop future email to that address. Unsubscribing does not erase the submitted pledge or change the public submitted-pledge count. The public counter uses delayed, grouped milestones rather than exposing an exact real-time total.

A direct privacy contact is not active during controlled prelaunch testing. It is a launch requirement and will appear here before the campaign accepts public pledges.

Not an official signature

An online pledge is not an official Washington initiative petition signature. Official signatures must be made on prescribed petition sheets by registered Washington voters. The public counter reflects submitted pledges; it does not verify voter registration, identity, or residency.
